About Us :

agencyside was formed in 2008 by executives and employees of Sitewire, a national digital marketing agency. We were born after a year of in-person teaching and coaching directed toward small to mid-sized ad agencies across the US. agencyside strives to further validate the power of this marketing form by helping agencies become expert in the space. We offer high-quality, current training, coaching, staffing and consulting exclusively to advertising agencies. No client-side work.  Just agencies!

Meet our team :

Bret GilesBret Giles, President

An advertising veteran of many years, Bret started his career at Ketchum Advertising in San Francisco. He spent six years in direct response marketing for Sharper Image and SkyMall before marketing a major e-commerce initiative for a Fortune 500 computer distributor in the mid 90s. He co-founded Sitewire in 1999 and is still a managing member there. He currently teaches upper-level and graduate-level Digital Marketing classes at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Bret has a passion for teaching others and enjoys being a part of all our seminars. Lacey BrownLacey Brown, General Manager

No stranger to digital marketing and communications, Lacey is a journalism major turned digital media enthusiast. Responsible for many early successes in integrating PR strategy online through search and social, Lacey has a well-rounded background in digital media management, creative, PR and event planning. As our general manager, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations as well as the relationships with participating agencies and sponsors.
